THE FOUNDER
Honoring the Vision of Jana Olson
Panache Lighting was founded in 2004 by Jana Olson, a visionary in the field of lighting restoration and design. With a discerning eye and unmatched technical skill, Jana established Panache as a trusted name in vintage and antique lighting services. She approached every fixture as a piece of art—something to be honored, preserved, and, when appropriate, reimagined.
For nearly two decades, Jana worked hand-in-hand with clients, transforming ideas into illuminated reality. Her passing in July 2024 was a tremendous loss to the design and restoration community. But her spirit lives on through every fixture we restore and every client we serve.

THE FUTURE OF PANACHE
A New Chapter with Alexandra Marchant
In line with Jana’s wishes, Alexandra Marchant now carries forward Panache Lighting’s legacy. Since 2015, Alexandra has been working in lighting fabrication and restoration, bringing a rich background in the applied arts and a deep passion for meaningful design.
She holds a BFA in ceramics with a minor in glass blowing from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA in sculpture from San Francisco State University. Her early career at Omega Lighting and Design included workshop management and custom production, honing both her technical and collaborative skills.
Having worked closely alongside Jana at Panache, Alexandra is uniquely equipped to uphold and expand the company’s mission. Her leadership combines artistic integrity, meticulous craftsmanship, and a heartfelt commitment to client collaboration.
