Founder
Founded by Jana Olson in 2006, Panache Lighting has been passionately dedicated to providing the unique and specialized service of lighting restoration and construction to the broader community. Thoughtfully working alongside each client to achieve their specific lighting goals and ensure their vision was expertly realized.
Tragically, Jana passed away unexpectedly in July of 2024. She has left the esteemed company Panache Lighting in the capable hands of Alexandra Marchant, a talented woman who has been dedicated to the field of lighting restoration for the past 9 years.
THe Future of Panache
Alexandra Marchant has always been deeply dedicated to the principles of quality fabrication in her craft. She earned an undergraduate degree in ceramics, complemented by a minor in glass blowing, from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Following this, she pursued a graduate degree in sculpture from San Francisco State University, where she further honed her artistic skills. Shortly after completing her education, she began her professional career with Omega Lighting and Design, where she managed their workshop. In this role, she was not only involved in creating custom lighting pieces but also played a key part in the restoration of antique lighting fixtures. After an enriching nine-year tenure at Omega Lighting and Design, she made the important decision to join Panache Lighting, where she collaborated closely with Jana, with the aspirations of eventually taking over the business to allow Jana to transition into a well-deserved retirement. Tragically, due to Jana’s unexpected passing, Alexandra has now assumed the role of the new owner of Panache Lighting, ready to honor and continue its legacy.
